Housing Footprint

Housing Footprint

Housing footprint-Our housing impact is how much our houses have an a effect on the environment

Throwing too much garbage out, not recycling and not composting also using bad and harmful products and buying processed food from plants all have negative effects on the environment. To fix these problems you can do many things such as recycling and composting throwing as little as you can in the garbage and as much as you can in the recycle and compost bins. Using biodegradable products on the environment and non-toxic cleaning products. Finally you can buy products from locally owned stores who grow foods and not buying from large companies. An example of saving if only 25% of U.S. families used 10 fewer plastic bags a month we would save over 2.5 billion bags per year
